Tuan Nguyen

Hi, my name is Tuan Nguyen. I am Vietnamese, born in Saigon (Vietnam). I studied computer engineering and science at the Iowa State University. I have many years of experience in ITS network communication systems and specialize in wire and wireless network communication design and security.

My Technical skills include:

Ethernet over Copper, fiber, wireless communication design; Cisco CCNA, Design and Security; Video Management Systems; Windows server software and hardware; Fiber Optic network design and integration; Computer programming languages: C, C#, Java and Virtual Basic; ITS system communication integration and troubleshooting: Sensys, vehicle detection, video surveillance, traffic controller, UPS, MMU, DMS, Windows servers, PCs and virtualization; Network monitoring, analysis and management tools

Besides my hard work and dedication to my networking career, cooking has always my passion. When I was a young boy I loved to be around in the kitchen with my parents and grandma for hours to learn and taste delicious traditional Vietnamese recipes, using authentic, fresh ingredients and preparing everything from scratch. I realized that food is not only nourishing but also comforting, stimulating, pleasurable, and fun. Cooking healthy and delicious traditional food I have learned is my passion and has become my hobby; I like to experiment with different tastes and textures from the Vietnamese culinary culture to create great food.
